Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Manama Bahrain on 11^th August, 1985.

Her father Elroy is a srilankan, and mother, Kim is of Malaysian descent. Jacqueline is the youngest among four children with one elder sister and two elder brothers.She received her early education in Bahrain and used to host television shows in Bahrain at the age of fourteen. She pursued a degree in mass communication from the University of Sydney in Australia.

She had aspired to become an actress at a very young age andfantasized about becoming a Hollywood movie star. In 2006, she was crowned the winner of miss universe Srilanka pageant and represented Sri Lanka at the world miss universe 2006 pageant held in Los Angeles.

In 2009, she travelled toIndia for a modelling assignment and successfully auditioned for her first film Aladin. She appeared opposite of Riteish Deshmukh in her first movie Aladin. She has already established herself as a promising actress in Indian cinema.

Jacqueline’s commercial career:

After that she continued to play huge successful movies, such as houseful 2 which was one of the top grossing production of India and earned 1.8 billion worldwide. And her 2013 first release Race 2 also emerged as a commercial success and earned a gross domestic of 1 billion worldwide.

She also appeared in the action film kick starring opposite of Salman khan, where she roles as a psychiatry student. Kick made a worldwide revenue of over 3.75 billion, and also became India’s fourth highest-grossing Bollywood film. However this film established Fernandez as one the most popular Bollywood actresses.

Personal life and other works:

• Jacqueline Fernandez dated prince of Bahrain, Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa, in 2008. But the relationship only lasted for around three years, and they separated in 2011.

•  While filming houseful 2 in 2011, Fernandez began her romantic relationship with director Sajid Khan. But her relationship lasted only till may 2013 after that they both were officially separated.Her current relationship status is single and she is not dating anyone and is busy with her career.

• Jacqueline Fernandez has supported charitable organizations and also a number of causes. In 2011, on behalf of people for the ethical treatment of animals, PETA, she sent a letter to the Mumbai Municipal Commissioner asking to end horse-drawn carriage rides in Mumbai. Later in 2014, she was named as ‘women of the year’ by PETA (India).

Fernandez forthcoming films & her Hollywood debut:

Jacqueline is doing role in a movie ‘Bang Bang 2’ opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the coming years. And she will be part of ‘Judwaa 2’ with stars Varun Dhawan and Taapsee Pannu.

Jacqueline Fernandez will also make her British debut with the film ‘The Definition of Fear’s’. This film comes across as a spooky, psychological thriller with a supernatural angel. And Jacqueline will play the role of a psychological student in this film
