His career as an Actor:
Arjun Kapoor started in the film industry as an Assistant Director on Nikhil Advani’s Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003. He also assisted Advani on his Next directorial Salaam-e-ishq: A Tribute to Love in the Year 2007. He worked as assistant producer on two of his father’s productions- No Entry in the year 2005 and Wanted in the Year 2009.
And he made his Directorial debut in the Year 2012 with the drama Ishqzaade, a huge success. Also he then portrayed dual role in the movie Aurangzeb in the Year 2013, which was a commercial failure. In the year 2014, he played for the film Gunday. After playing in the three crime-genre films, he worked for a romantic love story 2 states alomgside Alia Bhatt. The film was adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s novel 2 states. His third film for the Year 2014 was Finding Fanny.
In 2016, he was featured as the host of the seventh season of the television reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. He then took on the part of a stay-at-home husband in R. Balki’s Ki & Ka (2016), a romantic comedy about gender stereotypes starring Kareena Kapoor. As of September 2016, he is filming with Shraddha Kapoor for Half Girlfriend, a film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Chetan Bhagat. He has also committed to star in Anees Bazmee’s film Mubarakan alongside his uncle Anil Kapoor, as well as Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty.

He is a celebrity endorser for various brands and products, including Hrithik Roshan’s ISL FC Pune City. In 2015, he supported the Earth Hour. Philips also roped him as the brand ambassador for its ‘Male Grooming’ business. He is also a brand ambassador for Flying Machine and Royal Stag along with Ranveer Singh. He also co-hosted the IIFA Awards ceremony in 2015 with Singh.

Family
He is the son of Indian film producer Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie Kapoor. His mother passed away on 25th of March, 2012 due to cancer. He has a younger sister named Anshula Kapoor and is the step-son of actress Sridevi. He also has two half sisters Jhanvi and Khusi Kapoor. Also he is the grandson of the film maker Surindher Kapoor. As well as he is the nephew of actors Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and producer Sandeep Marwah.

As per now, he is single and isn’t dating anyone.
Fat/Diet
He lost a lot of weight before becoming an actor. He used to weigh 140 kilos back then. Before appearing for his debut film, he lost 50 kilos.

Despite the hectic schedule for Ki and Ka, seems like Arjun is still being able to make time for his alleged newfound love, Athiya Shetty. According to a report on Bollywoodlife.com, the actor is dating Suniel Shetty’s daughter, Athiya, who had made her Bollywood debut last year with Sooraj Pancholi-starrer, ‘Hero.’ While Athiya and Arjun have never worked together, they share the same social circle and apparently often party together. According to the report, the two had also arrived together for Punit Malhotra’s party but avoided being clicked so as to not fan dating speculations. Reportedly, Arjun’s alleged ex, Sonakshi Sinha was also present at the do but avoided bumping into him throughout the evening.

Arjun Kapoor shared a black-and-white bearded selfie on his Twitter feed, his look from his next, Mubarakan. He plays a double role in the film. The 31-year-old actor will feature alongside uncle Anil Kapoor for the first time in the Anees Bazmee-directed comedy also starring Athiya Shetty and Ileana D’Cruz. The film has already generated a lot of buzz as it’s the first time the uncle-nephew duo Anil and Arjun will be seen sharing the screen space together.

Even before Half Girlfriend releases this year, the team has created a new record. What’s it? Of the longest song ever in any Bollywood film!
Composer Mithoon is making an 18-minute long song for the film – a romantic track featuring the lead pair. Spotboye.com reports, ““ithoon has an18-minute-long song in the film which happens to be the theme of the movie. The song is written by Galliyan lyricist Manoj Muntashir. The song will be played at a crucial juncture of the film. The lyrics of the song are also extremely beautiful and Manojji had written these poems at a very early age.
He had recited these poems at one of the concerts and director Mohit Suri heard them. Thus he approached Manoji and Mithoon and thought that they would make an amazing song for the film.” This will break the previous record, held by Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which had recorded a 13 minute long song. But the catch was that a huge chunk of the song got chopped off in the film.
