Edson Arantes do Nascimento who is known as Pele world widely is an exemplary player played total of 1363 games and scored 1281 goals on his career. Originally named Dico, he was called Pele when his friend mispronounced one of his favorite players ‘Bile’ as Pele. The name that he got from his friend is now well known around the planet.

In his childhood, he couldn’t afford to buy ordinary football so he used to make football by stuffing newspapers in his socks and tying it with the string of grape fruit. These little efforts that he made just to play football is now recognized and respected throughout the globe. He was primarily trained by his professional soccer player.

Because of his talent and the coaching he received from his father, he was able to make up to several games for amateur football teams. He then placed himself to one of those teams named ‘Bauru Athletic Club Juniors’. Having Pele in this team, led the team win victories from the year 1954-1956 & he was also recognized with several individual accolades.

Though Brazil lost match against Argentina, he was rewarded for being ‘Youngest Player’ ever to score in international football.

Scoing 1000th goal against Vasco da Gama from a penalty kick at the Maracana Stadium in 1969, it was another thrilling victory thrilling victory from his side.

1970 was when Pele played his last World Cup series for Brazil. His immense contribution rewarded him as ‘Player of the tournament’. This year too, Brazil won the World Cup. He played his last international match for Santos in 1971 at Rio de Janeiro.In 1976, he signed contract with New Year Cosmos. It was his leap towards semi-retirement phase of this life. He led the club towards 1977 NASL Championship.
His last match for his professional life was in 1977.

It was controversial match where Cosmos and Santos played against each other. He played first half of the match for Cosmos and rest for Santos. For Pele, winning of any team was in his favor. Cosmos won the match by 2-1.

Pele was World Cup-Youngest player to play football match. He was also the player to score a hat-trick in World Cup.

His first married with Rosemeri dos Reis Cholbi in 1996 and the couples were blessed with two daughters. Unfortunately, couples parted away in 1982.
He was again married to Assiria Lemos Seixas in 1994. They were blessed with twins. As of now, they are divorced.

Pele and Xuxa, a young 17 year old girl stated dating since 1981-1986. Xuxa was about to start her career as a model where Pele helped in her career as beginner. Their relationship was quite controversial. The five facts revealed about their relationship were:
