Jennifer Lynn Lopez, also known as JLo, born in July 24, 1969, is an American singer, actress, dancer, fashion designer, author and a producer.at the age of five, she began taking singing and dancing classes. She was a catholic school girl, attending eight years at an all-girls catholic high school named “Holy Family”, located in Bronx. At school she was an amazing athlete and participated in track and field and tennis. At the age of eighteen, Lopez moved out of her parent’s home. During this time she worked in a law firm as well as took dancing jobs at night.

Her break came when she was offered a job as a fly girl on fox’s hit comedy, In Living Color in 1990. After her two years stay at the, In Living Color, she went on to dance for famed singer-actress Janet Jackson. Her first major film was Gregory Nava’s, “My Family” in 1995, and after that her career went into over-drive when she portrayed slain tejana singer Selena Quintanilla Parez in Selena in 1997.

Jennifer Lopez as Philanthropist:

Lopez is highly involvedin charitable activities. In 2009, she launched the Lopez Family Foundation, alongside her sister Lynda. This organization seeks to increase the availability of health care for underprivileged women and children, offering a telemedicine programsupported a partnership with the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. This foundation has led to the expansion of medical facilities in Panama and Puerto Rico, and created the center for a healthy childhood at the Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.

JLo was heavily involved in charitable activities following 9/11 attack.She was presented with humanitarian award for her philanthropic work. In jlyu2016, Lopez released single entitled “Love Make the World Go Round”, a collaboration with Lin-Manuel Miranda, which benefits the victims of the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting. She was also featured on the song “Hands” along with numerous other artists, benefiting those affected by the Orlando shooting.

Jennifer Lopez’s personal life:

Jennifer Lopez was married to Cuban waiter, Ojani Noa, their marriage lasted only for a year. Since their brief marriage, she endured many legal troubles regarding her relationship with Noa. In April 2006, she sued to prevent him from publishing a book about their marriage, contending that it violated their confidentiality agreement. After that she was awarded $545,000 in compensatory damages and Noa was ordered to hand over all copies of materials related to the book to Lopez or her attorney. A lawsuit regarding compromising private honeymoon video in Noa’s possession is presently running.

Jennifer Lopez commenced a high profile relationship with actor and director Ben Affleck, with whom she became engaged in November 2001. The media began to refer them as “Bennifer”, but they broke up in January 2004.

Following her break up with Ben Affleck, she began dating her longtime friend Marc Anthony (real name: Marco Antonio Muniz). The couple wed on June, 2004, and lived in Brookville, New York.

On 7^th November 2007, they confirmed that they were expecting their first child. Her father confirmed that they were expecting twins, revealing that it runs in the family. She gave birth to twins, son Maximilian David, and a daughter, Emme Maribel, in Long Island, New York.

On February 22^nd, 2008. After three years in July 2011, the couple announced their split, with Antony filing for divorce in April, 2012. Their divorce was finalized on June 16, 2014, with Lopez retaining primary physical custody of the two children.
