Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried, born on December 3^rd, 1985, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is an American actress. Her father, jack worked as a pharmacist, and her mother, Ann, worked as an occupational therapist. She also has an older sister, Jenn with whom she has a very close bond. She wanted to become an actor as well as a singer and started modelling at the age of 11 and appeared on the covers of three Francine Pascal books. By another year, she was modelling for The Limited Too with future Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester. She studied opera with a voice coachduring her teen years.

Her first contract role on the acting front, came at the age of 15, playing Lucinda Marie “Lucy” Montgomery on the soap opera As the World Turns (in year 2000). Then she appeared as Joni Stafford on another soap opera, All My Children ( in year 2002).she graduated in 2003 from William Allen High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Seyfried suffered from anxiety attacks at a very young age. But she considered those anxiety as her assets, because it helped her in her acting skills. It was something she never wanted to give up because it gave her an edge.

Regarding her love life, she has been linked to many actors, including Jesse Marchant, Dominic Cooper, Ryan Philippe, Josh Hartnett, Alexander Skarsgard and Desmond Harrington. In 2016 she began dating actor Thomas Sadoski, her co-star in “The Last Word”, which is scheduled to be released in 2017.

However, she became engaged in September, the same year she dated him and after two months announced that she was pregnant with the first child.

Her lead role in film Mamma Mia in 2008 raisedher to A-list status. She played Sophie, a girl looking to find out the identity of her father before gating married. She also sang one of the lead song “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man after Midnight)”, on Mamma Mia’s album. The movie has grossed over $609 million dollars.

She appeared on several other hit films including Jennifer’s body in 2008, Boogie Woogie and Chloe in 2009. In early 2012, she appeared in a thriller film, ‘Gone’ and played Cosette in the Oscar-nominated film adaptation of Les Miserables. As well as, in 2013 she appeared in the drama, The End of Love, and biopic Lovelace, in which she portrayed adult film star Linda Lovelace to critical acclaim. And in 2015, she appeared in the comedy Ted 2 and pan (in which she played Peter Pan’s mother).
