She also has an older sister, Jenn with whom she has a very close bond. She wanted to become an actor as well as a singer and started modelling at the age of 11 and appeared on the covers of three Francine Pascal books. By another year, she was modelling for The Limited Too with future Gossip Girl actress Leighton Meester. She studied opera with a voice coachduring her teen years.
Her first contract role on the acting front, came at the age of 15, playing Lucinda Marie “Lucy” Montgomery on the soap opera As the World Turns (in year 2000). Then she appeared as Joni Stafford on another soap opera, All My Children ( in year 2002).she graduated in 2003 from William Allen High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
