Tom Cruise, also known as Thomas Cruise Mapother, was born on July 3, 1962, in Syracuse, New York. He was the son of actress Mary and Electrical engineer Thomas Mapother. Apart from Thomas Mapother, Cruise’s family suffered from dyslexia, making academic success difficult to achieve. His family traveled a lot to accommodate his father’s career. Unfortunately Cruise’s parents divorced when he was just 11 years old. At the age of 14, Cruise joined Fransciscan seminary with the motive to become a priest, but after a year he left. At 16, Cruise’s teacher motivated him to participate in the school’s musical, ‘Guys and dolls’. After winning the lead of Nathan Detroit, his newfound love for stage was born.
Tom Cruise set a deadline of 10 year for himself in which to build an acting career. After leaving school, he moved to New York. In New York, his real struggle to become an actor began. He married performing artist Mimi Rogers in May 1987. Rogers acquainted Cruise with Scientology and he went ahead to end up distinctly a blunt supporter for the Church of Scientology. Tom Cruise is starring in two movies, they are ‘The mummy’ and ‘American made’. ‘The mummy’ will be releasing on June 9, 2017 and ‘American Made’ will be releasing on September 9, 2017. In ‘The Mummy’, Cruise will be playing the film’s hero opposite Sofia Boutella as a female mummy. In ‘American Made’, we will see Cruise as a drug dealer who turns into an informant and starts working for the CIA.
Tom Cruise’s mother Mary Lee, who had been battling health issues, passed away recently. His mother, an education teacher, was a driving force behind Tom’s acting career. She died at the age of 80. (TMZ, 2017)

According to Us Weekly, the star has been romancing a British woman for the past several months. The Magazine also says that Tom took his alleged love on a date to Bourton-on-the-water.
