His journey as an actor:
Born on 2nd November, 1965, Shahrukh Khan is also known as Baadshah of Bollywood, King of Bollywood, or King Khan. He has appeared in more than 80 movies, and has earned numerous accolades including 14 Filmfare Awards. Also he stepped into acting career by first getting involved in several TV series in the late 1980s. And he made a Bollywood debut during 1980s in the film Deewana.
During 1990s , he played the role of villain in several films including: Darr, Bazigaar, and Anjaam. He then started playing in romantic films, including: Dilwale Dulhania Lejayenge, Dil to pagal hain, Kuch Kuch Hota hain, Mohabbatein, and Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gum. He then appeared as an alcoholic in Devdas in 2002, a NASA scientist in the film Swades in the year 2004, Hockey coach in Chak Chak De! India in the year 2007, and a man with Asperger syndrome in the film My Name is Khan. His superhit films lately include Chennai Express(Year 2013) and Happy New Year (Year 2014).
His journey as a producer and a television host:
Khan co-produced three films from 1993 to 2003 as a founding member of the Partnership Dreamz Unlimited. After the partnership was dissolved, he and Gauri restructured the company as Red Chillies Entertainment, which includes division dealing with film and television production, and visual effects, and advertising.
As of 2015, the company has produced or co-produced more than 9 films. Apart from acting, Khan produced the film, volunteered to write the console game script, dubbed for it, oversaw its technical development, and wrote the digital comics based on the film’s character.

Khan has also hosted numerous TV shows including the Filmfare, Zee Cine, and Screen Awards. In 2007, he replaced Amitabh Bachchan for one season as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, and a year later, Khan began hosting Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?, the Indian version of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?.
In 2011, he returned to television, appearing on Imagine TV’s Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout, the Indian version of Wipeout; scenes featuring Khan were shot at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. Contrary to his earlier television anchoring jobs, Zor Ka Jhatka: Wipeout Total performed poorly. It aired for only one season and became the lowest rated show hosted by a Bollywood star.

Ownership of IPL Cricket team
In 2008, Khan, in partnership with Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, acquired ownership rights for the franchise representing Kolkata in the Twenty20 cricket tournament Indian Premier League (IPL), and named the team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). As of 2009, KKR was one of the richest teams in the IPL. The team performed poorly on the field during the first three years. Their performance improved over time, and they became the champions in 2012 and 2014.

Shahrukh Khan came out to talk openly about his relationship with Priyanka Chopra. There was a time when Priyanka was shunned by the Bollywood A-list brigade for her alleged affair with Shah Rukh. But, of course, SRK went on fine with his life as if he had nothing to do with the rumoured love affair. At last the superstar decided to stand up for his friend and speak out in support.While speaking to CNN IBN (news channel) SRK not only defended Priyanka but admitted that she was treated unfairly.
He said, “(I) Feel extremely sorry, for she (Priyanka) wasn’t shown the respect I show her, or other women.” Ms Chopra was ignored by the Bollywood big wigs because Mrs Khan was offended. She was called marriage breaker by her loyalists and turned away from all Bollywood and parties. Shah Rukh went on, “Priyanka Chopra is one of the closest friends that I have, she is very close to my heart, and always will be.”

Finally putting an end to all the speculations on King Khan, Shahrukh Khan’s cameo role, makers of ‘Baahubali’ revealed unfortunately he is not acting in the second part directed by S S Rajamouli. The filmmakers, via a Twitter post said, they would’ve loved to have a star like SRK in the movie; but unfortunately it was only a rumour.

After playing a smart don, a cunning gangster, an obsessed fan, Shah Rukh Khan will now be seen playing a dwarf. it’s official, The actor will be essaying the role of a dwarf in Aanand L Rai’s upcoming project. Also it was confirmed saying, As well as ” It (story) sounds like it is just about a dwarf but it is much more than that. It is a much taller film. It is a very entertaining and interesting love story.” The director then went on to add that he’d be a “fool” if he does not have romance and songs in a Shah Rukh film.
